Growing wild the horsetail is one of my favorite plants a weed to some but then I also like Dandelions nothing pleases me more than a field of wild flowers.

Spending time in Cumberland.

I like Cunberland for it's relaxed hippy fibe, coffee and restaurants there are some lovely creative shops which together build on the artistic community that sustains them, although becoming more gentrified I hope it never looses it's charm.
I can't go to Cumberland without going to Comox Lake a busy place in the summer for camping and hiking, we are lucky to enjoy it all year round.

This is our recue dog who does not like baths or haircuts so once a year he gets Anesthetized by a Veterinarian for a close cut not for beauty but comfort, he is considered a liability for Groomers as he bites, we love him but being a rescue and not knowing his history he comes with issues.

Two choices .

The crow and the Highway both have two different levels which in my eye tied the two choices of photos together. Driving home from Qualicum Beach I prefer the slow route which hugs the water side and has two lanes, the fast lane has four which is great when travelling longer distances with a destination in mind.

Qualicum Beach is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year, hopefully travel restictions will ease up in the not to distant future, wear a mask and stay safe. As a side note the houe in the last photo gets transferred into a cafe located in Maryland USA for the TV series Chesapeake Shores.

There are two sides to every story.

The second photo was not the one I was aiming for but it ended up being the better photo as the colours of the feathers blended in so well with the tree I'm glad I didn't delete it there and then.
