Found these on the Sunshine Coast during my trip in September
I like how this fungus seems to hug the tree so thought it was an appropriate title for the post no disrespect for the people who are advocates for the preservation of woodlands. Trees are our lifeline.

With so many Ducks it's hard to get just one.
as if in formation they are all swimming my way they are out of luck as we are not encouraged to feed them.
Thought they were two different kinds at first with the green and purple heads but the sun did it's magic.

Remembrance Day

A poppy to remind us that today is Remembrance day, during these trying times we honour those who fought for our democracy, human rights and equality for all. I would like to believe that we can live up to the fact that the sacrifice of those who died for us was not in vain. So get vaccinated people.

This is a young male Common Merganzer a first for me I have seen lots of females, so glad to finally get this one on film.

My favourites are the juveniles I love the colour patterns of the feathers.

TRUMPETER SWANS

Lovely to see the migratory Trumpeter Swans come back, as is usually the case I heard them before I saw them.

Found these Mushrooms growing on the side of a tree at Puntledge Park.
