My favourites are the juveniles I love the colour patterns of the feathers.

TRUMPETER SWANS

Lovely to see the migratory Trumpeter Swans come back, as is usually the case I heard them before I saw them.

Found these Mushrooms growing on the side of a tree at Puntledge Park.

Fish spawning on the Puntledge River in Courtenay.

I love the flow of the clear water showing of the colourful rocks as the salmon swim upstream.

It was a bit of a scramble at the end of the month as I was busy and the weather was not always conducive for taking photos lots of rain, I have been posting dogs of the month since 2017 so did not want to miss October. The last photo was sent to me by a good friend of mine.
