I took this photo In Thunderbird park in Victoria I have a great respect for the carvers and their legacy.



I took the photo of Carillon in Victoria as a remembrance of my Dutch ancestry and remember well the sound of the bells. The Carillon was completed in 1967 and Queen Juliana unveiled the cornerstone at that time to celebrate Canada's 100th birthday and to thank Canada for its role in the liberation of the Netherlands during the second world war.
