On the road to Gold River a beautiful scenic drive.

Gold River is part of the North island but technically on the West coast you just need a boat or sea plane to get there it's a lovely place to visit and I have taken all my company there when they visit.

Yes I know another Eagle they are so hard to resist, I took this one at Point Holmes.

Took these in Lazo Marsh don't usually feed birds this time of year, but in Lazo Marsh they expect it a few little ones swooped down on us before I had opened my bag of seeds.

Spotted Towhee and Robins welcome visitors in our yard.

Texture feels like leather found on the beach in Comox.

All in a day took the Heron down island at Ships point Park and the other heading home before it rains.

Guardian Watchman Totem Pole on Hornby island this one was carved by Karver Everson and Randy Frank as part of a series of Guardian Watchmen located on K'omoks first nations traditional territories as guardians of the land and environment, I would like to to take the journey of visiting all of them with respect to the people and culture.
