Red-Breasted Nuthatch taken at Lazo Marsh in Comox

Today at Lazo Marsh
The first time I have seen a Nuthatch eat out of a person's hand it's usually the Chickadees who scoop down to feed. Thanks to the lovely young lady and her partner who took the time to allow me to take the photo.

A Poppy to remind us that tomorrow is Remembrance Day.

A Poppy to reminds us that tomorrow is Rembrance Day.
During these trying times we honour those who fought for our democracy, human, rights and decency for all. I feel disheartend by what I see in today's political climate a picture of greed and self interest with no thought for the future. I would like to believe that we can live up to the fact that the sacrifice of those who died for us was not in vain.
